NVDPL Playground - Final Exercise

Congratulations to everyone who has completed all the exercises, and I encourage all those still working at them to persevere.

I'm still really enjoying reading your blogs and seeing your creative input. I know some have really enjoyed playing with some of the tools.. I think Flickr and LibraryThing are a couple of the favourites. I think over time we will be using more of these tools as part of our everyday routines as you will probably notice when our new website is up and running. It will be much more interactive and will contain RSS feeds and places for patron feedback. Exciting innovations are happening in the library field check out Bibliocommons which probably won't be too far into our future (or something like it). Libraries can be dynamic.

"This present moment used to be the unimaginable future"
(Stewart Brand)

We are we always learning something new, and are constantly reinterpreting what we thought we knew in new ways. What we learn today is tomorrow's history. I hope that these 24 “Things” will prove to be building blocks to continued learning.
